I hope they do another Soulwax/2ManyDJs show at the Mezzanine. That was too much fun.

I ended up going. It was a good time for a DJ Set but i'll take a Live Set over any day. Yes I did read your posts about their DJ Sets being sucky but i had to see it for myself. I couldn't let those deter me from going.

A Live Daily article about the forthcoming Goldfrapp tour says that both Allison and Will Gregory will be on this tour. This would be pretty awesome, but he's never been on any of the 3 other US Album tours that I have seen, so I'm not sure that it's correct. Here's the article:

they sold out floor tix for the other two. and nobody wants seats at the warfield so it's as good as.

also be prepared. crystal castles will be everywhere this year. the worst thing about it will be the incessant complaints around these parts.

I ended up going. It was a good time for a DJ Set but i'll take a Live Set over any day. Yes I did read your posts about their DJ Sets being sucky but i had to see it for myself. I couldn't let those deter me from going.

I went too; a buddy got me on the guestlist... it was fun, I danced the whole time I was there, though their LIVE set at spookfest felt much more special. I actually left at 2am and they were still going. When did they end their set?

Im glad there's a club/venue like Ruby Skye, because they can get some of the top names and acts, but Im glad Im not a regular there.

Also just heard announced, SLAUGHTERHOUSE is coming to Oakland May 9. Any other hip hop fans round these NorCal parts?

I believe any negative thing anybody has to say about the place, but I dont mind the venue itself. Ive been maybe 5 times in my life and it was to see hip hop shows. Crystal Method was actually my first time on an electronic night.
