Saw First Aid Kit at Great American on Memorial Day and I can see them translate well at the Fox. Great live sound from them.

So bummed Jack White conflicts with FYF. Second time this has happened this year with QOTSA at Bill Graham and Coachella WK2.

Sucks that Jack White is during First City Festival. I think I'd rather see Beck & Phantogram over Jack.

So, looking at Jack White tour dates, it's nearly a certainty that he's got a holdover date here for either the 22nd or 24th, right? That being the case, could he actually sell out two nights?

(don't want to pay Ticketraper charges)

Nice! Does anybody happen to know how fast floor tickets sold for the first show? I'm hoping to get a ticket at the box office to avoid fees.

Anything good going on during SF Pride? I'll be up there 6/29 both that day and night. I'm going to miss the Royksopp show by a handful of days unfortunately.

They were pretty awesome a couple years back opening for Lykke Li at the Fox. Sucked that most of the crowd wasn't into them back then, but I bet the crowd will be light years better now.

I don't really know what your tastes are musically, but there is a Ladytron DJ set that night that is pride related at The Chapel, and Sharon Van Etten is playing The Independent.

Didn't realize Ladyron did dj sets. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll probably check it out.

If you're game for dj's, you should do this rather than ladytron ...

Thanks, good to know. I'm not necessarily looking for a "pride" event but given that's what's going on over the weekend I figured there may some interesting acts. Both look like fun.

Now if I could only figure out how to get into State Bird Provisions for dinner.

They killed it in the Mojave tent back in 2012 if that helps. I'm very excited that they are coming back, they were great at GAMH a few weeks ago.

I just realized I missed Charli XCX's free show this past weekend :-( fuuuuck

If you don't already have a reservation your only hope is to show up before they open and get one of the spots they reserve for walk in.

^ What they said. My experience is that you get in line with everyone else an hour before they open, and hopefully you're in with the first seating. My friend once went around 6pm and was told it was a 5 hour wait. His words, "It was worth it." (and he's a picky Frenchman) Fortunately Kabuki Theater is nearby, so you could help kill some of that time with a feature-length film in super comfortable seats, beer or wine in-hand.

Bill Graham? Not at all, him and his band are going to blow the roof off. His Roo set was even better than I couldve imagined
