Definitely not. Still surprised he's playing a place as small as Monarch though.

I'm not a fan of his big room cheese house sets, but he's doing a string of shows at small venues that are venturing away from that. I personally think it would be awesome. More info: http://thisisadynasty.tumblr.com/pos...u-its-me-redux

If anyone managed to score tickets and wants to unload them, I'll be happy to take them off your hands. I'm glad it's at the Monarch (haven't been there) but since it's a smaller venue, I can hope for no cheese-hits and just straight deep house. Anyone familiar with the Monarch and their box office? The Monarch FB says they will have a limited amount of tickets available at the door - I'm hoping this means I can show up at noon or whenever their box office hopefully opens up, so I can buy some tickets and then proceed along with my day. Then return at night, enjoy show. What I'm hoping it's not is I show up at like 6pm with 200 other hopefuls, and that once I buy my ticket, I proceed inside. No innouts kind of thing.

... Monarch doesn't have a box office. You need to show up when doors open and get in line. Once you get in, you'll be allowed to go back upstairs to drink (or outside to smoke). They stamp you, but they don't allow you to leave and come back... would be a matter of whether the bouncers notice that you've left entirely or not, I guess?

Including no innouts? The website says they "open" at 5:30 M-Th. The Kaskade event starts at 9:00pm. Will I be able to show up at 5:30 on the day of (or 4:30, early, etc) buy 2 tickets, and then leave and come back? Or will I not have an option at 5:30, and actually the ticket office won't open until 9:00? Meaning to have a shot, I'd have to be standing there at like 7:00pm, wait 2 hours, and then go in at 9:00? Do they do any kind of innouts, once the event has started? 21+? I'm going to give them a call too, but so far I've only gotten a voice recording.

Edit: just saw chiapet's post. Bummer. How early do you think I'd have to show up to have a shot at these limited tickets?

Monarch is two levels. The street level is a bar that is open to the public, the basement level is the venue. The bar opens earlier in the night, the venue doors open whenever the event says they do. Can't tell you how early you'd have to show up, but yes, the entire facility is 21+.

You won't be able to go out and in again. Unless you smoke a lot. If you want to go you have to stick it out.

Crystal Castles killed it last night. Easily the best of the 4 sets I've seen. That GA crowd was intense, lost one of my shoes, and almost had my shirt ripped off.
