Is anyone going to the FlyLo show at the Fox in Oakland on Thursday? Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I was wondering if anyone knows what time I should expect the show to end, my girlfriend and I are trying to decide whether it would be better to drive from SF or take BART over.

debating on Markus Schulz (open to close) at Ruby Skye on Friday..or Fake Blood at Mighty...suggestions? will probably see Fake Blood the next day at Escape but I'm sure his set will be only 1 hour instead of 2..

Speaking from past experience, Fake Blood is fucking AMAZING live; however, expect him to play a very similar set, especially since you're seeing him two days in a row. I caught him at Creamfields and then in Ibiza summer 2011, and his sets were nearly identical.

It's being highly considered. The place where I usually stay is fairly inexpensive for that night, and it's only 1.5 miles away from the venue. And since it's on a Saturday, I can always make it to the city a bit earlier, and maybe we can all do some dinner/pregame/bar hopping.

Thanks all for the info on Vessel - ended up checking out Sasha, and while I was a little disappointed in the set, the venue was as described and had a pretty good time.

On another note - have a few (as many as 3) TDCC club floor tickets for tonight @ Fox. Trying to help out some friends who can't make it so price is pretty negotiable - floor with fees and all is like $40 so definitely less than that! PM me if you're interested.

Wow. I was really impressed by Ultraísta last night. The band sounded great and their songs played live we're a lot better then on record. Nigel and Joey really rocked it. Definitely one of my favorite shows of the year. They had a 12" vinly with remixes from four tet and mathew dear for $8 that I picked up. Probably the smallest crowd at the independent I've been to. Really enjoyed the opening act astronauts ect. Overall a very atmospheric evening. Also ran into toro y moi at the show. Asked him why there werent any sf dates on his up coming tour and he said they are gonna be either playing great american music hall or a couple nights at the independent.
