Yea, it should be a great show. Regrettably, I'm not going to be able to go to the SF one. Heading to LA for John Talabot's Culture Collide set, instead, and then catching Max's LA show.

I really hope the SF show gets good turn out... had hoped we'd get a weekend show this time, but whatever, right?

    How was Atom??

Dbridge and Om Unit played amazing sets at the warehouse party, but acoustics, volume control, and a proper system were lacking. Mimosa played too. And while that was the loudest set of the night, it sounded like shit on the system they had. I could see it sounding way better on a festival stage so his set at OSL will be worth a look, if you're into that.

Does anyone know if parking near the independent tonight is even going to be a possibility? Is it far enough away from the park that it will be like any other night? If not, around what time does everything start to clear up after OSL?

There's usually a spot or two available if you search Baker/Turk to Divisadero/Hayes thoroughly.

You can always park at the DMV (for like $6) at Fell/Broderick. Check the Indy website for details.

I've never gotten into Cat Power, but her new LP has me curious. Will she sell out the Fox? If so, will it be quickly or a slow burn? Just wondering if I can buy my tic at the box office when I hit the Fox for the Refused show. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm coming to you late, but my friend is trying to host a screening of "Don't Think" by The Chemical Brothers on September 2nd. It looks like he has overestimated a bit, and he's desperate for attendees. So if you have nothing to do over Labor Day weekend and enjoy The Chemical Brothers, please help my buddy out.

The event page can be found here: http://www.tugg.com/events/1244

People involved are die hard fans, and just trying to recreate that "live feel" while The Chemical Brothers aren't touring. He's hinted about an after party, should be good times.

I think her last show here was at the warfield, and I don't know if it sold out. not right away, certainly. I remember getting a ticket some time after it went on sale.

her live shows are so hit or miss. I've seen some great cat power shows and some awful ones. I am curious too though. I wonder what kind of band she will have with her this time around.

I have seen Cat Power numerous times, and I wouldn't call any of them "good" shows. It's a pity because I really like Chan on album, but I find her stage presence to be completely disappointing.

Justice is so bad, their outside lands set put me to sleep, and not just because it was the same exact thing as their coachella set, it was just incredibly boring

I love Justice, but their OSL set wasn't loud enough for me. Probably gonna see the boys at Day of the Dead too =)

Are you sure you've not seen 2011's tour listing? That's the date he played the Fillmore last year. I don't see any tour for him this fall.
