I take it that was for hard tickets? Mine had $11.50 in service fees which was still ridiculous.

yeah I think it was. they charge for mail delivery and not for print at home. which actually makes sense, but I prefer ticketmaster's backwards way. if they still do it that way.

Sorry to ask something that has inevitably been answered many times over, but I just moved to the Richmond and I want to buy tickets to Aimee Mann at the Fillmore in September. If I buy from the box office at the Fillmore (which appears to be open 10-3 on Sundays), what service charges am I avoiding? The price listed is $35 + $12 of surcharges on Live Nation. Thanks!

if you go on a sunday you avoid all of them. you'll pay $35. if you go on a show night you pay $3.
