That's the club that misplaced my license and credit card last year. They found it over a month later. They didn't even try to contact me after they found it. My friend who DJs there saw it on the manager's desk one day and told me. When I went to pick it up, they said the card wouldn't swipe. That's right... they tried to charge my card.

Yikes. I almost never open tabs at the bar for that reason. I've had a couple of situations where my card was "lost" once placed in the possession of the bartender.

Other than that, the club is decent. If I didn't have such a terrible first time there, I'd probably go back more often.

Sunday night crowd is usually a way more local crowd compared to the B&T crowd it typically gets. At least this was my experience the few times I went a couple of years back.

From work tonight, I'm headed to see the Silversun Pick Ups at Amoeba. I also hope it's an electric set and more than 4-5 songs.

At Amoeba and it appears SSPs set will be 2 people and acoustic, dang.

SSP played 5 songs and were rather enjoyable. The stage banter was pretty amusing as well.

Also, whoever was asking about the times on Roger Waters, it should start on time at 8:15 and go until about 10:30 according to other stops on the tour.

Also, anyone else excited about How Weird this weekend? Don't know many of the djs but theres like 13 stages so plenty of options.

This is a pretty stacked weekend with a ton of shit happening.

As far as a costume, I think I'm just gonna half-ass it with a Travolta-esque 70's disco shirt. I know alot of people go all out, but as long as you do something you're doing ok.

Same here. Every time I say "maybe," I usually end up not going. But this show will definitely bring out some old school house heads.
