I've only been to Monarch on two occasions when it was two crowded, one was that Vampire Nightclub time, where there were extenuating circumstances. I just hope it's not extremely warm inside the venue.

Hey guys, goin to Roger Waters next Friday, and I want to go bar hopping afterwards. I know some of the bars around the park from going to baseball games, but we've got a room at the Knights Inn and was wonder what is good more in that vicinity. I know The End Up is around the corner but I've never been there, any good? 103 Harriet is nearby too but they have a show going that night and I'm looking for more of a bar or bar+dance floor type scene. Thanks for any help.

I'm an asshole! I promised my friend tickets to see Meshuggah/Baroness at the Fillmore tomorrow 5/6 and thought I would be able to find tickets on CL... Boy was I wrong. This is a long shot but does anyone in here have any extra tickets or know of anyone with extra tickets to this show tomorrow? I should have known better, metal heads stay true to their commitment of actually going to the shows they buy tickets for... SHIT!

Fuck yes so excited. It'll be over by 10:45 or 11.

Anyway, there are a bunch of bars around where you're staying, basically that whole strip of Folsom has a lot of clubs and bars on it, just walk around and you'll find something you're into. Raven is pretty nice, they have a dancefloor + bar situation.

Seriously? Soul Clap was SO QUIET at Monarch. I don't know WTF was the problem on Friday, but it didn't really sound that great to me.

Soul Clap also completely phoned it in, Eli wasn't even in the booth half of the time, he was out back doing who knows what. Cara and I left at like 1:15 and went to Tiga which was so much better.

FlyLo was great, I've seen partial sets from him many times but this was the first time I saw a full one. He was def a crowd pleaser.



Washed Out totally exceeded my expectations as well, great night! :-)
