I wonder how this Creator's Project Lotto is going to work. I don't know many people who know about this to begin with.

I'm curious as well. Also, I'm hoping it's more evening-oriented. I'm not off work till 4-ish down here in Redwood City, so it'll take me about 2 hours to get to Fort Mason via public. Makes me nervous, but I mostly care about James Murphy, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Squarepusher, and The Antlers.

Magda @ Monarch on 3/16 is now Magda @ TBA. Tickets are up on RA ($20), event is described as an "Intimate Evening w/ Magda" and end time is listed as "late". Location to be revealed day of the show. All this leads me to believe they will be using an underground venue and Magda is likely to play an extended set. I'm hearing things about a new spot in the Mission w/ some promise but beyond that I'm not sure where this is likely to take place. Since the Compound was razed and Monarch/PW came into being these sorts of events have been few and far between. Anyway, people trying to go to the Hospital Records party or Lindstrom or Layo & Bushwacka should be able to easily catch Magda after those shows if they're so inclined.
