Just announced shows in San Francisco

Damnit, when Magda is in town, the fates conspire against me and force me to miss her shows. Even w/o the 2am curfew, I think it's possible to do both the DnB show and Magda.

Uhm, presently I have tickets for both the dnb show and Lindstrom, and was planning on starting at the former and ending at the latter. (I've already seen most of the acts on the Hospital Records billing - was just going to hang with friends).

I did not expect to have a choice between Lindstrom and Magda, though... argh.

Riva Starr is on the 15th which IS Thursday. I'm definitely going to that.

Hotel Utah can be fun. It'll probably be uncomfortably cramped, though, so if you get a good spot, hold on to it.

Hotel Utah serves really good pub food until 8pm. Could be a decent excuse to get there early.

I was thinking of it. I didn't know it was so early. that's encouraging, actually.

I've only seen local bands at hotel utah. islands were playing larger venues than that recently. I also expect it will get a bit cramped.

I saw Black Francis at Hotel Utah a few years ago, the place is tiny and if it's packed I believe getting stuck around a corner is a possibility.
