I went last year for free, and it was fun for what it was. Tool killed it, LP plays very well live even though i am not into them, and alice in chains' new lead singer is technically talented. The crowd was what you would expect though.

No, that's not what I'm saying. I was very excited and satisfied to see Rage twice after their reunion. Now it's time for a new record, because a 3-year reunion tour is just dumb. Does that make more sense?

Not to say that it's not just them accepting money and donating it to their various causes, I'm just tired of Rage's catalogue and I think their entirely capable of more.

i dont think RATM will perform anytime soon in the u.s. they are doing the shows this month so it covers the expenses of the free show they put on and thats about it. morello is doing SSSC

i think there is a good shot they will go for metallica as a headliner... no dates this summer so far...

worst case is they go for godsmack or limp bizkit.. id be ok with godsmack as a band on the bill but as a headliner would be garbage..........

limp bizkit is terrible but i could see them there.....

Well, speak for yourself. There are PLENTY of people who haven't had an opportunity to see RATM perform, ever. I was one of those folks who was going to the RATM/Beasties tour before it got canceled, and I'm sure there are many more.

Luckily, I have seen them since, but I'm the exception to the rule. Millions of RATM fans in the USA, only a handful of shows since the return.
