uh, is it possible to edit polls? i don't really want to be on here.

Yeah, on the old board, I didn't really want to be on the poll for "who would you want to be stuck on a desert island with." I was the only female on the poll and have stated in the past that I'm skinny/weak, so I got a lot of votes for being female (so they could use me for sex) and weak (so they could kill me and eat me if they needed to). Yay.

I'm not so sure about this poll. York707 and TomAz both have very high post counts, and seem like all-around nice guys, but have not be included for some reason. I know that there can only be 10 choices, but I'm not sure how those 10 were selected.

That said, like nothingman, I like everyone for different reasons:

suprefan - very helpful to newbies, good about posting in all the forums not just the lounge
vinylmartyr - helpful and friendly, but also I love the underlying sarcasm, also on here everyday like it's his job
Amyzzz - super nice and perhaps never (?) says anything mean. Also, this board needs more women, so yay for that too.
hannahrain - funny funny girl, always a quick comeback line
Yablonowitz - super nice guy, despite the fact that he apparently objects to a dislike of mayonnaise
bmack86 - good radio show, lots of awesome info about local LA stuff like food and shows
schoolofruckus - awesome film insight, very reliably posts thought-out intelligent responses

Others like Randy, Fober, and Mr. Nipples are no doubt awesome too, I just haven't read enough posts by them to judge.

And I also like John Peel bc he's in my signature and said he'd vote for me. And Amy because she likes me. (Flattery will get you everywhere. And that includes buying my vote.)

Thanks for the new sig, Amy. And yes, you are correct: being the only female on the desert island thread wasn't fair at all. Using you for sex before cooking you and eating your skinny flesh was the only realistic option out of those presented (at least for heterosexual males). Perhaps your skinny skeletal frame would have been useful in building the undercarriage for a raft, as well. Who knows?

It's really nice and generous that some people think more posters should be added to the poll. Makes you sound very kind and thoughtful. There is a 10 person limit, however.

Therefore, instead of listing 10 more names that you like, try listing the names you would eliminate from the current poll in order to fit your favorites in... not so easy.
