Anyone heard of this metal fest in the Czech Republic this summer? A friend may be going and I'm thinking about it. Would love to see Sepultura again, but I don't know a ton of these bands. Thoughts on the lineup?

Thread in correct forum. Check.
Thread not previously posted. Check.
Thread not completely retarded. Check.
So.....maybe you should get the fuck out of MY thread.
Would still appreciate any info/opinions from people who like metal and don't want to bust my balls for no apparent reason.
There are some good bands in there but if you're going to a metal festival in Europe the obvious answer is Wacken.
Not bad.... me and my wife were lookin in to doing Wacken this year... Slayer/Iron Maiden/Arch Enemy/Cannibal Corpse/Kataklysm/Caliban....all sounds pretty good, Motley Crue being there is lame though... gotta wait on some gov visa shit though before i can leave the country, so i cant plan shit yet...
Upcoming Shows:
Pitchfork Festival: 7/19 @ Union Park
Mountain Oasis Festival: 10/25-27
While it's not bad, this year's Wacken lineup is the worst I remember seeing.
its def for the experience and camping, more than the lineup itself.... you're right though... its no Rock Am Ring, lol

Beware of Hostels in the Czech replublic, otherwise holy shit what a line-up! Well worth an adventure to eastern Europe!
It almost dangerously inexpensive...haha! The people of Eastern Europe generally don't rely on tourism in the same way as most of Western Europe so you just have to be careful not to find yourself in dangerous situations. My best advice would be to be prepaired to fork out a little more money to ensure safety & security rather than to try and do it on the cheap.
