Glad I got here in here before spoilers of tonight's episode… If anyone can find a working torrent for this week's episode, if you could send me a PM or a message on fb, that would be much appreciated. I've been searching through TPB for the last half hour and it says there are "none available." I don't know how this is possible though...

Such a great episode tonight, probably the best of the season so far. I fucking LOVE Daenerys!

I care not what your feelings toward LOST may be, but I have not been this invested in a show since those heady days spent on the Island and I absolutely cannot wait to see what enfolds during next week's GoT episode.

(And HELL yes, I have read the GoT books all the way through...twice)

What is the deal with Shae and Varys? How could they just throw Tyrion under the bus like that? That pissed me off. But my god Tyrion's episode stealing scene at the end was fantastic. Very excited for next week's episode and NOT looking forward to the one week break the week after. :/

the biggest shocker of the episode was that Varys isn't into boys.

I'm pretty sure Cersei knew about Shae. I thought there was a scene where one of her handmaidens witnessed them having an argument.

There was. And she interrupted Jaime and Cersei so she could inform her of Shae.

Varys has always looked out for himself, as much as he has helped others. Shae on the other hand, yes there was the argument part and Cersei figured it out. But youre gonna have to see the end result of that later.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned, Bolton more than likely murdered the girl he was in coitus with when Yara stormed his keep to free Theon.

I'd say it's probably easy to renounce sex when you've lived most of your life without any genitals. He probably spent most of his childhood blowing dudes just to make ends meet. Now that he's got some power he's probably just glad to be done with it, especially if he can't get off.

It seemed pretty obvious to me that the blood all over Ramsey was from the soldiers he'd just killed. That girl he was humping is his hunting partner from the first episode. If he was gonna kill her they would have shown it.

Whats the deal with the Theon being Reek thing? Is this from Book 5 or just made up for the show? Because Reek was a real character that was mentioned, that died back in Book 2 right?

This doesn't really spoil anything to show watchers, but if you're reading the books and haven't gotten to book 5 this is spoiler'd:

Ramsay Snow wanted a new Reek after his original Reek was killed in book 2, so he turned Theon into his new Reek.
I originally thought Theon was killed in book 2 but after being absent from books 3-4, he's revealed in book 5 to be the new Reek. The show chose to show the process of Theon being tortured into becoming Reek since they didn't want Alfie Allen absent from seasons 3 and 4.

Not too late to start an A Song of Ice and Fire thread. I mean, when book 6 comes out the thread is inevitable. Perhaps best to start it now so people can openly discuss differences between the show and the book and not have to worry about spoilers.

Really? Im on the 3rd chapter of Book 5, so the 1st half of this most recent episode wasn't anything I have read yet and they have been changing stuff up quite a bit so far this season, so I guess the Reek-Theon stuff is Book 5.

    ^^^ Ha! That is excellent.

As was this most recent episode. Lots of great stuff from every storyline… but the major highlight of the episode was the Oberyn/ Tyrion scene. DAMN. That was seriously GoT at its best. He, to me, is the most exciting character on the show right now and I cannot wait to see where it goes next. And by that I mean I hope he goes after Cersei.

The Gregor scene was some lame hamfisted bullshit. "OK we've got no time but still want to somehow shoehorn in an unnecessary scene showing him as a badass. How about a scene where he just hacks a bunch of people to pieces for no reason at all? And we'll shoot it from one inch off the ground"

It seemed obvious to me that he was practicing his chops on some unwilling sparring partners, probably criminals from the city's dungeons.
