it would have been an amusing contrast though. A brutish male Lannister lackey escorting a pretty girl Stark north while a brutish female Stark lackey escorting a pretty boy Lannister south.
Imagine if Brienne and the Hound had a kid?

They scrimped on the CGI for Jaqen R'gar's face change (sorry for spelling). I mean, there was no CGI.
I loved the Wights advance at the end. Bad ass.
Why was Robb getting married by a priest of the Seven gods? No other priest handy? He believes in the Northern gods.

Don't know if anyone else felt this way but I think they really screwed up the setting for beyond the wall, it was supposed to have a "magic" like setting and more heavily wooded. At least what i remember from reading the books. Also when they looked at the camp for the King Beyond the Wall's army, i was hoping for a bit more. Hopefully HBO is going to increase their budget because they're going to need it for these next two seasons and what follows.
Are there different types of Wight Walkers or are they all reanimiated/possessed corpses?
Edit:
Ahh, I see there are Wights (reanimated corpses) and there are White Walkers.

I think the thing that saw fat boy was one of the ancient spirit white walkers which resurrect the dead. As we saw those kind at the beginning of the first season, in addition to the white walker wilding child. The ancient spirit ones also made some sort of deal with the guy who has all the wives who are his daughters. I don't think the reanimated corpses would be so compromising.
edit:
Yeah wights is what they are called.

That's pretty awesome.
He had a "Vegas" wedding
He was fighting on the same side as other Northern people though, right? Why wouldn't they have a priest for their gods with them?

Because the old gods don't have priests. They have weirwood trees, which are few and far between in the south.
My problem with it is that he was praying or saying some sort of oath to the seven. I'm at work and can't look it up and I can't remember exactly what was said, but it felt off.
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
so nobody officiates an old god ceremony?
Sounds like the new gods are just a racket for priests to rake in marriage fees.
Pretty much.
From ADWD:
Quick as that, it was done. Weddings went more quickly in the north. It came of not having priests, [deleted] supposed, but whatever the reason it seemed to him a mercy.
Can't remember if they said what kind of ceremony Robb had in the book, as it happened "offscreen," but in the book he marries Jeyne Westerling, daughter of a small House sworn to the Lannisters. So she definitely would've worshiped the Seven, and so they could've been married in front of a septon. But in the show Talisa is from Volantis, so she almost certainly didn't worship the Seven. It was a fuckup.
No, don't, don't cut my hair, Ned loves my hair.
They also screwed up in the scene where Robb and Lord Karstark (the old lord whose son was strangled by Jaime during his escape attempt) confront Cat about releasing Jaime. He says something like "I'd carve out my heart and give it to the Father if it meant my boys would be alive again." Its a reference to the Seven, even though the northern Karstarks (they're actually an ancient branch of the Starks, their name was shortened from "Karhold Starks") obviously worship the Old Gods.
Jon Ho does not approve.
Still not as bad as that dude in Beastmaster that had braces, tho.
