Finishing Dragons is a shitty feeling, such a long wait! Book ruled too, I heard a lot of negative things about the pacing but it was on par with all the others imo.

I'm a couple hundred pages into it, so far I like it much more than the other books (other than book one).
I still stand by my statement that GRRM relies too heavily on "oh shit" moments. But I must say, the first so many chapters in Dragons have been an absolute pleasure to read.

How many were horsed? How many were wounded? What other enemy had they seen? When? What banners did they fly? Where did they go? Was there gold hidden in the village? Silver, gems? I'm halfway through Dragons right now and I love it. I was really worried after reading A Feast For Crows that the series had started to lose steam. I can't wait to watch the series, I think I'm going to wait until season 1 comes out on DVD.

i'm halfway thru the 3rd book and i'm freaking out cuz Jon Snow just escaped the wildlings. Bran was SOOOOOOO close to him and they missed each other. I was sad there for a bit. Will this family ever be reunited????
