    Default Car Camping Technicalities

Would purchasing a “car camping” pass for a 24 foot RV be acceptable? Seeing as the car camping spot is 10’ by 30’, and my RV would fit. Under the rules it states that a VW bus is acceptable.

I am only inquiring about this seeing as the RV spots have sold out. Thanks ahead of time for your responses.

^ what he said. You can go ahead and try, but when you get to the gates on thursday with a RV and a regular camping pass you're gonna get laughed at.

...or punched in the face if you get a particularly surly security guard. A VW bus isn't an RV, it's a van.

If your RV has a car in it, perhaps you could make a valid case.

Doesn't anyone ever think of the logistics? You're not going to be able to make the turns to get into a car camp spot. You've got to make 90 degree turns on 1 lane roads, basically.

Besides-we don't want to hear your generator running all night. As long as you're doing things ahead of time, buy an RV Pass ahead of time next year.

How can you say no to this offer, Goldenvoice?

THIS, thank you. There's a reason the RV camping spots are 20x50 and car camping spots are 10x30.

OP you are totally out of luck. Either camp offsite in your RV or buy a car camping pass and come with an actual car.
