Greatest Regret

So I just discovered a group called Subtle. And I'm exactly 1(?) year short of my discovery. I knew they were at Coach while I was there, but I didn't know ENOUGH to go and check them out (plus they were hella early that day).

This seems to be happening every year I go. I hear about someone at Coach, and then afterwards I come to appreciate their music.

Who is your greatest regret in missing (Yes, I did see Daft Punk.) at Coach?

Oh man. I went in 2004 and did not see Kraftwerk, Electric 6, Peretz (ha ha, kidding on that one) and Stellastarr.

that's exactly why this year, i'm listening to a lot of bands that i haven't had much interest in but have heard good things about. i.e. interpol, the decemberists, placebo, regina spektor, and the rapture.

I think if I remember correctly, I missed Pinback for British Sea Power in 2005. I also missed TV On The Radio last year.

years ago i rolled out to soma's in san diego to see sublime and incubus live and i left the venue early because of some bull$hit and i ended up missing out on what would turn out to be my ONLY chance to see sublime live... -sad face-

I missed Daft Punk at the Bang Music Festival last November. Was there for their opening track, Robot Rock, but in my jaded state of mind at that point wandered over to another stage and forgot to go back before their set was over. I regret that Axl Rose is a fucking tool land caused a riot in St. Louis which caused him to get arrested before a show in Chicago with the Smashing pumpkins back in 1992. I was standing outside the venue with thousands of others when some guy with a megaphone announced the show was cancelled. Fucker.

In this context maybe. I think I would regret doing physical or emotional harm to someone I love as opposed to regretting NOT doing physical or emotional harm to someone.
