I LOVE "Album." Saw them last December at the Troubadour in LA. Good but not "magic", as I had hoped. I actually enjoyed the opening band, Morning Benders, more. (and i had never heard a note of their music beforehand)

Big Bad Mean Mother Fucker is classic! I'm hoping the magnitude of Coachella will catapult them into a 'magical' performance.

I am 100% in agreement with you on this. Every mediocre review I hear, I keep neglecting because I keep thinking: This is Coachella, their biggest show to date, they are going to own it. And they are. At least I hope. Yea, they will. Maybe.

I'm also looking forward to this show. Their 2009 "Album" was in my top 5 for last year's releases.

I was looking forward to seeing them at a proper show. Loved their Coachella set, but it was my first and last time. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed, but at least I was lucky enough to see them 4 times. By the way, every now an then you can catch JR shopping at the Amoeba on Haight.

This sucks. I saw them only at this last Coachella and it blew me away how good everything came together live. I was really hoping to see them solo and catch a proper set.
