I LOVE "Album." Saw them last December at the Troubadour in LA. Good but not "magic", as I had hoped. I actually enjoyed the opening band, Morning Benders, more. (and i had never heard a note of their music beforehand)
Big Bad Mean Mother Fucker is classic! I'm hoping the magnitude of Coachella will catapult them into a 'magical' performance.
I am 100% in agreement with you on this. Every mediocre review I hear, I keep neglecting because I keep thinking: This is Coachella, their biggest show to date, they are going to own it. And they are. At least I hope. Yea, they will. Maybe.
I'm also looking forward to this show. Their 2009 "Album" was in my top 5 for last year's releases.
Even though I look it, I'm not a cop.
Coachella 10, 12.1, 13.1, 14.2
rest in peace
this is disappointing. I skipped them in austin the week before coachella because i knew i'd see them there. then they conflicted with someone i wanted to see more.

This sucks. I saw them only at this last Coachella and it blew me away how good everything came together live. I was really hoping to see them solo and catch a proper set.
This sucks but at least the TV show got renewed for a second season. Hipsters rejoice!
