Thumbs up Coachella to Toronto (or as close as possible)?

    Hey

Best friend and I are looking for a ride home from Palm Springs Airport to Toronto, Ontario [Canada] (or as close as you can get us). We have a camping spot and car rented for the weekend down there, but have to return the car on Monday AM, and our current ride home just bailed on us.

We can pitch in for gas and snacks, and I am an excellent driver if another driver would make things easier. Msg me and let me know if you're up to it.

    THANK YOU!

Holy shit, just take a plane to Buffalo and get a megabus or a 14-day advance Greyhound ticket to Toronto from there.

    @ ElBlueblazer:
No, no drugs (that I'll be taking with me). Just thought it'd be nicer to drive home and see some of the beautiful states before going back to school. Seems like everyone has a really negative/sinister vibe, though. I'm just a fun-loving hippie looking for an alternative way home. . .

SO let me get this straight. You are looking for a drive home from Cali. to Toronto? Don't get your hopes up meat n veg. Why aren't you flying? That isa long way to go for an uncertain ride home. Be bloodly careful! My return flight from T.O to Vegas is only $390.00; I don't know what you guys paid. We are renting a cheap little car in vegas for about $200. for the week and doing the desert drive with a little stop for some sweltering longboarding. It sounds like you guys have some time on your hands. Think of the price difference. The drive is about 5 hours, but could be done in closer to 4; however, the drive is utterly gob smacking. Desert mountains for the entire drive. Well worth the experience. If you like I'll mail you the map, or I'm sure you can do it.
    Peace n enjoy Coachella.

You're looking at about $250-300 gas on the way back depending on the car, which is good if you're splitting it 3 ways or more, but you'd have to sacrifice your gut to about 2,500 miles of Arby's for 3 - 5 days depending on the trip. I couldn't imagine driving back, after last year was over all I wanted was a bed for the next 3 days.

me and a friend are driving to/from vancouver. we MAY have room for you two. i know vancouver is still super far away, but at least we can get you back into the country.
if that works, let me know. we'll be figuring out details of our trip as soon as this olympic madness is over.
also, why don't you buy those greyhound passes that can get you anywhere in north america for two weeks??
