no thanks
I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member...
If they just play The Coup and Rage covers, sure.
*based upon tedious fact checking.
I love the Coup and I LOOOOOOVVVE RATM, but Street Sweeper Social Club is atrocious.
I am neither foxy, nor a lady.

That band is made of farts
"All of you coachella 'regulars' have nasty boy pussies and itchy dick4's on your asses.
Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.
I Hate you. All of you. None of you will ever get to see a womans chest meat or finger blast hott cougies like me.
Fuck you all. Consider this my resignation.
Fair the well, you elitest scumbags."

COACHELLA: 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011
Srsly, they make each other lame and the band sounds like something that would have seemed tired even in 1998.

I'm fairly down. Tom Morello at least knows how to put on a great live show even when the material is below the bar. There are worse things to do at Coach than bounce to some funky, albeit fairly forgettable rock. They aren't a priority, but if nothing else is on they're probably worth checking out.
I thought they put on a good show at OSL. I wouldn't go out of my way, but if there were no conflicts I would watch them.
I saw them with Tool and Alice In Chains a while ago, pretty fun live act. Not big on their recorded stuff though.
12/6: Japandroids/DIIV
1/10: Mister Lies/Matthewdavid
I definitely had a great time watching tom work at outside lands, but it really just has absolutely nothing on The Coup or Rage, but if you have the time it's definitely an enjoyable set
last time tom played as the nightwatchman boots joined him on stage with perry farrell.
they've got a lot of friends. could make for an interesting show.
not that trent will be there.. but still:
05,06,07,08,09,10,11, 12 #1, 13 #1
I was there that night, and it was decent....but if you cover a classic, have a different vocalist, and Morello limits the same knob twiddling he's milked for years...it's not really quite the same as listening to their dull derivative shit. Thank goodness there will be a choice to fuck off elsewhere and not have to endure their mediocrity as was the case at NIN/JA.
i guess ill be on my own on this but i saw them at their club show for OSL and at outside lands and they kicked fucking ass!!!
if you are a rage fan then you will dig them alot. if not, just step away!
all good..
Why?
In a word: BRUTAL!
CD and live are two completely different things. CD is meh at best, live they are damn good!
"The Coachella Valley wasn't always like this, there's been a great many changes made since I came here some 67 years ago"
i missed most of this set because the people i went w/ couldn't keep their shit together & went to the gate & stood in line w/o their tix like a couple dumbshits. got in just in time to catch "kick out the jams" w/ trent reznor, which i'm sure was the highlight of the set anyway... too bad the album sucked so bad, but if they do show up on friday chances are i'll have time to catch a little bit of their set 'cause there won't be too much else going on...
every day, every year
I saw them at Sasquatch last year and they were better than I expected. I don't have the album or anything but live they are not bad. I probably will skip them either way though.
Saw them open for NINJA. Not gonna be enough time for that on Friday.
I do think Morello and Boots are capable of a great collaboration but so far they don't have it.
Definitely a waste of a good addition, but this will just be one less conflict to deal with on an already stacked weekend. Toss them into the lineup, who cares.
