Yeah but it can be unreliable for getting older ones if there are no seeders. Within a week of the EM that is the place I would go though.

google the one you want. after a while you will see a few blogs that carry them reguarly and host them on hotfile, mediafire, etc.... much better than torrents

I really enjoyed Hudson Mohawke's album but his essential mix didn't really do much for me.

Netsky is this week? I was on the Radio 1 website the other day and it didn't say who was coming up, but that should be a really good one.

I listened to this one and enjoyed it. I'm curious to know what you guy specifically enjoyed about it though, I'd like to hear some more descriptive adjectives other than awesome, amazing etc etc.

Is it his ability to mix, transition beats? The flow his set creates? Track selection/diversity? I'm sure it's a combination of all that but I'd like to hear some specific examples if you guys don't mind. Just curious to know what sticks out for you guys and what you look for while listening.

I'd say his set was generally pretty smooth without too many build ups and break downs. I will definitely listen again, I'd just like to have a better idea to know what to listen for.

i personally love jz's live mix that was only an hour along side booka shades more than his most recent one. just really up and flowy. his most recent one isnt bad though, i have only made it through about an hour and 20 of it however, i should probably finish it sometime soon. pretty excited to see him next month

I'm actually a little over an hour into for my second time in the last 2 days and I'm liking it more than the first time i listened to it. I personally like it because it's not completely upbeat, but it's not so down tempo that you can't dance to it. The track selection is great and the mixing is flawless and it takes me on a journey through various genres of EDM. The movie samples he uses throughout take it up to that next level as well. It's something that makes me want to relax and dance at the same time, just smooth.

Oh shit, he's playing in OC on 11/18 and in SD on 11/21. I'm going to try to make it to the SD one, but will at least go to the OC one even though it's at Sutra(Biggest douche bag club in OC)

For me it's all about the way the crowd acts, I can be surrounded by guidos and douche bags as long as they are respectful of my space. I'm usually in my own little world at shows and don't really care what's going on around me.

exactly, learned that a while ago. as long as you are enjoying the music, then its ok and sometimes you just have to ignore a lot of people. i wish i was going to be home for andy c and doorly but sadly i will be out of town.

Jeremy - That voyeur show on a Sunday shouldn't be too bad crowd wise. You can stay at the house if you need to. I'll be out of town but my roommates won't mind at all.

I'm gonna start calling Netsky "net sky"

Random question-- For the 500th essential mix, they have tracklistings for Sasha, Aeroplane, and Pete Tong. However, I can't find a listing for Hawtin. WTF!?! His set was phenomenal on this mix, can anyone work some magic and find a listing? I've tried almighty google but no luck.

I enjoyed the Netsky EM, but he played many of the same current DNB hits that Danny Byrd recently played on his own EM. I understand that they are both on Hospital records (right?), but whatever happened to having a unique style and/or track selection?
