Nas
I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member...
they're both extremely overrated, just like all artists who die young
'99-'11...
"Your Nobody till somebody kills you"
Nas is such garbage now its a joke. He has to become "mr publicity" to sell any records now. First with Hip-Hop is Dead and now the ****** album and shit. He sold his soul when Jay-Z started to write his checks.
The saddest part was his dis-track was sooo much iller than Jay's.
But whatever, there maybe/are better rappers out there depending on your opinion, but Nas sure as hella aint one.
ok so maybe im just partial to "illmatic" n "stillmatic"
I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member...
Illmatic is better than any of Jay-Z's albums (or Biggie or Pac for that matter) but I agree that Nas sucks nowadays.
Biggie, overrated? Please. If I could only listen to one rapper for the rest of my life it would be him hands down. That flow is just nasty.
I am neither foxy, nor a lady.
Neil Young - Kanye West - Beck - PJ Harvey - The Knife - Basement Jaxx - Tom Waits - Shpongle (Live) - Flying Lotus (Live) - The Avalanches - Autechre - Eels - Fat Freddy's Drop - Liquid Liquid - OFWGKTA - Freddie Gibbs - Big K.R.I.T. - Phantogram - Christian Scott - Nosaj Thing - Gold Panda - James Blake
For 2011
Illmatic is great, no denying that. The song Purple off The Lost Tapes is genius.
As far as the 2pac Biggie poll I chose Pac. I mean just for the sheer fact he can come out with a 2 disc greatest hits album and still have sooo many other brilliant tracks spread throughout his discography.
Duh.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
Tupac had the personality and larger than life charisma, that whole Thug Life philosophy thing. Biggie had that super cool style, relaxed flow and witty rhymes. I think they are both masters in their craft but I personally like Biggie more.

2pac voters should be banned.
It depends on the day but today I picked Biggie.

For 2011
Biggie without a doubt.
I have to turn my back on the west coast this time
Biggie had far, far better beats/samples and overall songs than Tupac. And his flow is just unbeatable
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.
Pac and Biggie have different styles and both are some of the top rappers of all time!
2pac has my vote though ;P
I think Biggie had better skills but Pac had better songs. And I value songs over talent. Although I agree there are other fish in the sea and while these two are both great, there are lots of other guys who deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Biggie and Pac, but aren't because they didn't get shot.
Ron Paul 2012!
Upcoming Shows:
Four Tet
Coachella 4/20-4/22
Death Cab for Cutie/Magik Magik Orchestra
Radiohead
some other bands
Tupac
Also, you never ask this question. EVER.
