wave.
Yeah how did that whole genre get overlooked?
Beach House & Girls qualifies.
Pretty sure jj + Dum Dum Girls will be added;
Hopefully Washed Out, Best Coast or Crocodiles also.

I don't really think those bands qualify. Beach House's first two albums def. don't fit and a lot of Girls' stuff is much more upbeat w/o an electronic tinge to it that you find with Neon Indian, Washed Out, Memory Tapes...When I listen to these artists I feel transported back in time almost
yeah true they aren't exactly part of the movement. I need Memory Tapes there, tho. shit. 'Bicycle' or 'Pink Stones' or 'Green Knight' or any track off Seek Magic would be seww chiilllllll.

JJ would be pretty awesome. I'd love for Delorean to show up. You might not consider them as chillwave, but I've heard glo-fi used to describe them several times. Their Ayrton Senna EP is awesome.
Memory Tapes would have been so awesome.
I am neither foxy, nor a lady.

For 2011
I do agree that he should play coachella though. I was getting tired of Blessa and Talamak for awhile but i really like the album.
This thread. I totally agree.
We need some G-Funk, some sort of punk act, progressive metal, some underground hip hop...
In other words, 2011 should have Warren G, Cult Ritual, Mastodon and Immortal Technique.
chill wave? is there a new musical genre for every few artists that sound similar now?
every day, every year
Washed Out and Memory Tapes are great, but what a stupid fucking name for a genre. Why it even needed to be labelled is beyond me.
I don't even know what this is
Seeing Toro y Moi the day I land in LA. Excited+.
