SLC caravan to COACHELLA..

I'm also signing up for the SLC camping extravaganza.
What are you guys bringing to eat?

i'm bringing a gas grill. we'll fire it up at least on thursday evening for burgers and steaks (and whatever you guys wanna throw on) and friday morning for breakfast and coffee. sunday morning and sunday late night probabaly sounds like a good idea too. hey what time do you guys plan on heading back home?

1st pit stop: st. george exit 6, for gas and restroom. (15 minutes)

2nd pit stop: trader joe's for gas, alcohol and ice.. however, the trader joe's website doesn't show one in baker. the only locations along the way is las vegas or redlands. http://www.traderjoes.com/locations.asp (45 minutes)

3rd pit stop: if we're gonna stop at trader joe's in redlands then 5.9 miles east on the 10 is popeye's fried chicken. if there really is a trader joe's in baker then we're still stopping at redlands so i can pick up a 10 piece spicy with red beans and rice and maybe a few lotto tickets. cuz you gotta be in it to win it haha. (15 minutes)

that should put us right at our destination by no later than noon, thursday.. assuming our departure time is before 10pm.

i brought a ton of food last year. ended up wishing i'd just saved money for the vendors, as probably 70% of it came back home with me.

as far as the trader joe's thing, i'm going to the one in la quinta, which is about 15 minutes from the polo grounds. seems like everybody's got their own agenda as far as where to stop along the way... perhaps we can all meet up before getting in line for camping or something.
