I think I like them better than Arcade Fire. Arcade may put on the overall better show but I think on CD I give it to the Decemberists.

I suppose I like making new threads. I don't tend to do things I don't like. I havnen't seen a Decemberists thread and i've been listening to them quite a bit lately.

Where did I bash rage? I bash some of their fans but I like Rage. I'll be watching from the way back. The GRRrrr scares me.

What's your favorite album?

I've seen them twice and both times they've been excellent.

I'll definetely be there during their set at Coachella and hopefully a fourth time and the Hollywood Bowl this summer.

I can't wait to see them at the Bowl too.....I saw Belle & Sebastian at the Bowl with the Philharmonic last summer, and it exceeded all my expectations.....I'm very curious to see how they arrange some of their songs with the orchestra, should be amazing

They exercised the Tain pretty heavily on the Flight of the Mistle Thrushes tour. I don't think I've ever travelled so much for one band before... but I still think I prefer the Arcade Fire (yet I've only seen them once).

I just read about the show at the Bowl, that is going to be a must, anyone know when/where presale will happen.

I love both bands, but I think the Decemberists just a bit more if only for the sheer size of their catalogue and the fact that I adore 98.9 percent of anything I've ever heard by them. Must get tix for the bowl..... I love living in So Cal!
