the one in this thread, and for the past several posts. totally relevant. it's not my job to make sure you understand everything i post.
no coachella for me this year. lineup is too weak to fly coast to coast.

Excuse me, Mr. Timelessfilms, I happened to notice that for some reason you have 9 of the biggest bands of the entire decade all playing your festival. Might I suggest that this is rather unrealistic and that your billing "Better Than Woodstock," while accurate, also reflects how completely improbable and uncreative your choices are. To wit, I recommend that you put a little more effort into it and try and conceive of an actually feasible lineup in which the subheadliners are not one of the nine biggest bands of the decade. There is a thing called the internet you can search on to help you figure out how popular bands were the year of your festival. You should use it to determine where these acts belong relative to the other acts.
Now that wasn't so hard now was it?

I don't actually expect that I will win. I actually wasn't going to enter but I tried and my first was crappy but I'm actually enjoying making it. My photoshop skills are not as good as others on here but trying to figure out the order is frustrating but interesting when you look at the history of the bands. Here's my redo:

Anyone who has been reading this board for more than a month knows asking for constructive criticism means you'll get a lot of criticism. Don't ask if you can't handle it and don't complain when you get it. Use it and make your lineup better.

Hey, here is my go at 1971. Great concept, fun to make and think up. Keep on Rockin.

And yes, hopefully the little joke on the George Harrison name doesn't disqualify me, It's all in good fun anyways. haha.

Trivia: Simon and Garfunkel had committed to this show in 1970, but Shortly after Simon and Garfunkel split. Simon offered to do the same headlining spot for Charity and did some songs solo, some with a backing band, and from time to time would bring out other artists performing that weekend to join him, at the end inviting them all on stage for a big group song. Yea. Save.

I find this to be pretty damn boss. Good work and good luck. Nit pickers would probably say you need more names, but who knows how much that counts for. The design is first rate.

The Nirvana of the 90's was actually not the first to use the band name. Though this band is often referred to as "Nirvana (UK)" or something like that, at the time they were just "Nirvana". Underrated act in my opinion.

Some typos. Santana. J. Geils Band. Procol Harum. Maybe I'm missing some. I think Tyrannosaurus Rex was T. Rex by then.

Nice work CitizenJ. I like the design and the lineup. I'll be staying away from '71 now...

it's all good. Actually Tyrannosaurus changed their name in the second half of 1971 to just T. Rex, and its questionable whether or not they would have gone by one or the other, but for Nostalgia sake I went with the former. Will do a quick spelling change there and perfect it. kudos.

Edit: Santanta??? what was I smoking? haha. major typo. That was santana's evil twin brother who actually was going to make his debut at the fest. Or atleast some sort of Hispanic Santa who played kick ass guitar.

Haha right on. Well you blew all my shitty '71's out of the comp so I quit haha. And yes you are correct with T. Rex.

Erhm.... hmm... Coachella released the poster in late 1970 and had to scramble to find a Replacement later on? can I pull that card? The Amy Winehouse Card? lol. maybe I should post the revised poster for that year.

dont ever, EVER compare a great artist to a worthless piece of "music" trash again, even if it wasnt a musical comparison. simon and garfunkel aint got shit on the Winehouse.
