well im seriously posing the question; i think its a valid one.
itd be more helpful if you answered with a response as to why, instead of responding like such a pretentious know-it-all every time.
giving it further thought, i could see why you could use it; but i also see many reason why you couldnt.

this is definitely a fun contest. I could learn a lot from you guys with such good photoshop skills. are you all taking graphic design courses or just self-taught?
Undercard full of disco, early heavy metal, and token folk acts. 1978 must have been weird.

QUALITY!
ohh, nah man I was talking about the House of the Holy album art..
but considering Zeppelin is on the bill I guess it would be acceptable;
i dont think PF or whoever is judging is even going to take it into account tho, so i dont think it really matters....
but i refrained from searching for pictures online because of copyrights and what not

1995: Michael Jackson is riding the wave of "HIStory," Page & Plant leave John Paul Jones at home, Coachella plays up the Britpop battle by scheduling both Blur and Oasis, The Ramones play one of their last big gigs before hanging it up later that year, Foo Fighters play a rare gig before the release of their debut, and Garry Shandling reprises his HBO special cast, featuring Dave Attell and Dave Chappelle.

Here is my submission for the contest. The year I chose is "1986". I did my best researching to make sure the bands are accurate. Some bands/artist didn't have an album out by 1986 but were up and coming so I put them as smaller artist, e.g., Sinead O'Conner, etc.

*based upon tedious fact checking.
At last... after a long day of study in music here’s my first poster, hope you like it (and hope it wins =D)

I see there's another 1989 that was posted, but here's mine! We both had Guns N' Roses headlining, and a lot of the bands are the same, but the placement is a lot different. Best of luck!
This is fun, but it does take a lot of time!

Nineteen seventy one! Unfortunately, Hendrix and Joplin had died the year before. Jim Morrison however, didn't pass away until July of '71 so he was here at Coachella '71 to perform with The Doors! Hope you enjoy. COACHELLA!
