Electronic music is very diverse. No one person likes it all. Well, except me. I like everything pretty much. And well, except people who can't tell the difference and just see electronic music as an excuse to get high. But those people don't really like anything but the escape. I'm not passing judgment, just calling them out. In other words, I think this is really a case of different strokes/different folks. There really is no musical hierarchy. We're all just complementing our lives with sounds here. And now, back to masturbation...

btw, passing judgment and "calling someone out" is basically the same thing. If there were nothing negative, in your eyes, about what they were doing then you wouldn't feel the need to call them out.

anyway, i don't think there is anything wrong with getting high for shows. i don't think there is anything wrong with getting high in general, as long as you are of healthy mind and body, don't harm others in the process, and don't let it get in the way of accomplishing your personal goals. If you have no goals, then you must only satisfy the other two conditions.

yes, you could have plenty of fun at Coachella stone sober, but if it's possible to amplify your satisfaction (exponentially at times), why not?

i'm glad that more people aren't really into electronic music at coachella. sure i get sick of retards flooding the sahara to see the ting tings.. but having a smaller crowd for dome & do-lab sets makes it much more intimate.
