Unless FlyLo is at night, Hot Chip. Just because their new album has a handful of slower songs, it isn't gonna change their set that much. They're still gonna play a bunch of their old dancey stuff and new stuff that isn't all slow. One Life Stand, Take It In, Thieves in the Night, We Have Love, I Feel Better, and Hand Me Down would all work great in the Sahara.

This latest set times sheet looks terrible. Gossip in the Sahara? Never. Z-Trip will not play the Sahara, and try and make me feel content by obliterating that Beach House/Girls conflict.

I'm going to try to update this today.
I'm gonna take Gossip out of the Sahara, put Flying Lotus in, and replace Flying Lotus's old spot with Beach House.

But.. why don't you think DJ Z-Trip will be in the Sahara?

i'm pretty sure in that initial local news report where they talked to paul tollett right before the lineup came out he explicitly said that sunday mainstage will go phoenix -> pavement -> gorillaz too.. so moving phoenix to the main will be accurate

the last time Girl Talk had played he was in the Gobi, so was Z-Trip the last of the 3 times he's played Coachella..

Devo will NOT be in the Mojave, come on.. and just look at the billing, there is ZERO chance Bad Lieutenant plays that slot, switch them with Devo..

for the same reason Shooter Jennings & Tokyo Police Club won't play after Claypool on the Outdoor.. bump him up to after them..

I'm not saying that they are definitely going to play there but I think its a possibility.

Also what's with everybody so sure that dirty projectors would play sunset on the outdoor theatre? Are they really that popular? They don't seem to have the billing that would warrant that kind of spot, usually those acts are on the third line.

i was thinking along the lines of Peanut Butter Wolf last year, when he did the video/dj set in the gobi at night right before the headliner. They're also are both billed on the same line.

Also, assuming it is projected like he did it last year in the dome, it would definitely have to be after sundown.

Who knows though, he could definitely end up in the Sahara if they need to fill the slot. It just seems unlikely to me.

Quick update. didn't change too much.
Switched out Gossip for Hot Chip.. (but I shall laugh a hearty laugh if Gossip goes opposite Tiesto)
Moved Bad Lieutenant..
umm.. there's still a Beach House/Girls conflict.. so, suggestions?

I can see Beach House playing the Gobi later in the evening, but I'm not sure how to do it. It's also very, very possible they could open a stage.

Oh, and I moved Les Claypool to the Main.

We need to decide to trust that 2pm time or not.
IF it's 2pm, he should be on the Main due to billing.
IF it's NOT 2pm.. dude could be anywhere.

I have no problem just forgeting that 2pm time. But I'm telling you guys, if he's billed that high, and playing around 2, he's going to be on the Main stage.
