I would super pissed if they didn't play their biggest hit 1901. I love that fucking song.
2 + 2 = 5
My Iron Lung
Exit Music (for a Film)
Sail to the Moon
I Might Be Wrong
Sit Down. Stand Up.
The National Anthem
Street Spirit (Fade Out)
You and Whose Army?
Everything in Its Right Place
Seeing them on a few hours will report back on their level of shitiness
And they didn't start the WAP tour playing the entire album - "Countdown" and "Fences" at the very least weren't incorporated until at least a month or two into the tour.
But yes: their most popular songs are absolutely on WAP, so aside from the half of the concert barely anybody's heard, they'll play their popular songs.
When you exclude singles Coldplay played 5 unreleased songs (out of 14), Phoenix is playing 9 (out of 19). Put another way: Coldplay had three albums and spent just over a third of the show on the unreleased one; Phoenix has 5 and is spending half the show on the unreleased one.
What's the difference between going to Phoenix and seeing them play unreleased songs and wandering around and watching a band you've never heard of before. You don't need to know most of the songs in advance to enjoy or appreciate a show.

NIN played alot of new material at Coachella before With Teeth came out. Ministry has abandoned all of their early(best) material. Tool doesn't play anything from opiate. Animal Collective always plays sets of unreleased material. When The Knife starts playing shows, I wouldn't be surprised if hits like Heartbeats and Slilent Shout were omitted from the setlist. Bands do it all of the time, it works for some and others shoot themselves in the foot when they do it.
That being said... these are all essentially warm up gigs for their first major festival headlining gig. I'm sure they would like to work out any kinks in the new material rather than a song they could probably play backwards by now.
Beside You In Time (Intro)
You Know What You Are?
March of the Pigs
The Line Begins to Blur
The Big Come Down
The Hand that Feeds
Head Like a Hole
So I shouldn't count on them to play Too Young? That's my jam.
Watching them right now falling asleep . No headliner
It was an awful venue , like a high school multipurpose room . Sound was awful but I wasn't the only one to leave it was boring as hell .had a few strobe lights . The band sounds like they do on the album but there wasn't any energy from the singer .after opening with entertainment into liztomania the crowd got deflated fast
If they go against sigur ros do not make that mistake . Sigur ros crushes this band .
Why would you pay to see a band you thought was shitty?
I like wap . I wanted to see how they got headline status . Undeserved should have just booked muse again that flying pyramid is awesome .
Lol muse >>>>>>>>>>>> pheonix
