There are people that go to Indio that weekend, just for the parites, and do not even go to the festival, they just like that atmosphere. they are called the ''socially elite'', who just want to be seen and dont care for the festival itself. You know, like Paris Hilton at AIR in 2007.

Flier was released today. It's $283 (fees included) a for a 3-day pass. Kinda rediculous seeing that it was free last year with free beer, vodka and energy drinks.

I dont understand....I'm going for Coachella. I was told about this MLF and how amazing the pool parties and all that are but....Ima be at Coachella! I don't see the point in all this thing unless as someone said - you're not going for the festival but for the parties. Lame.

I totally hear you. But we hit up a random pool party last year during the days and it was totally necessary due to the crazy heat. It doesn't look to be as hot this year which is a plus but the pool was still a great perk. We will likely catch the shuttle to MLF around 10am and be back on festival grounds around 5pm (depending on artist set times).
