wadafux up?
its called having better taste
maybe you should invest in some
Honestly, I'm glad. The Sahara is really diverse this year.
THANK YOU GV FOR NOT GETTING STEVE AOKI!
ok ok steve aoki i can do without, but you cannot tell me that the beetroots, mstrkrft, armand van helden, diplo, laidback luke and shitdisco are bad taste. are you fucking kidding?
The Beetroots will be in LA a week after Coachella.
Proxy/Erol Alkan/Wolfgang on Friday will blow you away and is more similar to the Dim mak sound....not trancey in the least.

Underworld is not trance, nor is it slow, nor will they be there (unfortunately), so no need to worry there.
All the young kids are all about trance....almost everyone at Tiesto/Guetta/Benassi will be under the age of 20.

Where were you last year with the dam mak overload? I'm kinda glad this year is differant. Be happy we have proxy, 2 many dj's and deadmau5.
If you are looking for a heavy beat, try Pretty Lights. Dirty South, too, right?

Bassnectar will be good too, love me some dubstep.
Dirty South is just as bad as Tiesto and Guetta live.
And pretty lights isnt so much on "heavy beats".
You want "heavy beats" hit up proxy, wolfgang, bassnectar, rusko, and of course, plastikman.
Mau5 is utterly boring live.
ya sure his set at lolla was actually pretty good, but he bored me to tears the other times ive seen him.
Dont get your hopes up, kid.
Yeah, I was completely mistaken about Dirty South.
Plastikman is going to destroy.

I don't understand what the older ravers have against the younger rave scene. I understand that it was different back then but I don't see anything wrong with dressing differently and enhancing the experience in lights, after all you do the same with pills. I personally love the idea of dressing however you want at a rave as it adds some personality and adds to the chaos of it. Also, kandee ravers are almost always rolling and almost always very nice. The normally dressed normal looking people are usually the assholes that ruin the mood. My only problem with the current rave scene is DJ worship and staring at a screen with bright flashy lights rather than dancing with one another.
His "live" sets are just him jumping up and down whilst he plays around on his lemur. Ableton does all the real work for him. His sets are generally the same and nearly no effort is put in them to change it up.fak i heard the mau5 was sick live, im not his biggest fan otherwise, except for the instant family classic ghosts n' stuff
If you call that a "sick" to see, id love to read your definition of "sick".
ok your issue seems like my issue except my issue is the ravers of my age (im 18). they dont even pay attention to the show, they just lube each others ass'es with vapor rub and fuck while exchanging pieces of candy and giving each other light shows. I like music. not gay-lubed-candy-exchanging-butt-sex. but whatever floats your boat
huh? I myself am a "young raver" so your comment doesnt make sense. Its not that I hate those who dress differently and what not, you're missing the point. I hate those who are more interested in what the biggest dj is or what the coolest massive to be at will be, rather than actually caring about the music. Kandee kids are usually 15/16 year old slutty chicks who are there for the reasons stated above. For Kandee Kids, its no longer about a radical audio visual experience, its about the drugs and chasing the cliche that is the rave.
Prove me wrong.
