they're okay. they exist in a weird dimension between mellow enough to just watch and enough energy to dance to, so by default the crowd just stands there and nods their heads which kinda sucks.

saw them in LA when they came around with mouse on mars and junior boys.
good music for sure, they had visual projections which was nice, but it seemed they didn't take much risks, in fact the songs sounded exactly like the studio albums. basically it was one guy on guitar and another on bass, so if they were interfacting with a beat machine than it did come across as a safe bet rather than teetering on organized chaos as some acts can lend to, which at times can be rather exciting ....

    i'll still be there tho

Another of those artists that are best suited for a small, dark night club.

Plenty of YouTube links of them live.

They are so rad live....agreed about the dark clubs. I saw them at Richard's in Vancouver and it was honestly the best concert I've been to in a long time. They seem to create this crazy mellow but electric energy in the room and everyone is just like "yesssssssssss". Plus the move they play in the background is cool JUST because the things that fall like rain in the animation look like dirty tampons boo ya!

I enjoyed them immensely at Coachella, and I wish I had seen their entire set (wandered in there late). I can't wait to see them open for Daft Punk in LA!!
