    Noel. Every time.
Some things he means and some things are just bullish cockyness. I'm pretty sure "bigger than elvis" falls into the latter catogory but saying that sting is irrelevant and that as much as radiohead piss and moan that the world is going down the tiolet everyone still just wants to hear creep, spot on if you ask me.
Pete n Carl made me do it.

Thom Yorke shits more talent in one sitting than Gallagher could ever hope to have.

    Noel.
    Whiskey Sour

    2 oz blended whiskey
    Juice of 1/2 lemon
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1 cherry
    1/2 slice lemon

Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.

At some point in time a man switches from "I'll have what he's having" to "I'll have what I'm having."

The name of the song is from a movie that came out in 1968 called Wonderwall. The Soundtrack was scored by some guy named George Harrison. You may have heard of him lol. Noel got the name from the movie but he said "It's a song about an imaginary friend who's gonna come and save you from yourself."

hmm is that why Kid A, which didn't even have an official single released, was their only album to debut at number 1 on the charts in the US.

FYI, that person may have been quoting a Travis song in which the lyrics are "What's a wonderwall anyway?" I think the song is called "Writing to Reach You."

    How many special people change
How many lives are living strange
Where were you when we were getting high?
    Slowly walking down the hall
    Faster than a cannon ball
Where were you while we were getting high?

Some day you will find me
    Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova in the sky
Some day you will find me
    Caught beneath the landslide
    In a champagne supernova
A champagne supernova in the sky

Wake up the dawn and ask her why
A dreamer dreams she never dies
Wipe that tear away now from your eye
    Slowly walking down the hall
    Faster than a cannon ball
Where were you when we were getting high?

Some day you will find me
    Caught beneath the landslide
In a champagne supernova in the sky
Some day you will find me
    Caught beneath the landslide
    In a champagne supernova
A champagne supernova in the sky

    Cos people believe that they're
Gonna get away for the summer
But you and I, we live and die
    The world's still spinning round
    We don't know why
    Why, why, why, why

    How many special people change
How many lives are living strange
Where were you when we were getting high?
    Slowly walking down the hall

Where were you while we were getting high?

these lyrics are dreadful. They are meaningless drivel. They're not poetic and they're not even prosaic. They're just stupid.
