I'm actually surprised they are listed on the bottom line of the poster for Saturday. Wherever they play, I hope there's no (or minimal) sound bleed. I have a feeling Teen Dream is really going to create a good buzz for them come Coachella time.

Sooooooo stoked that they're playing!!! Teen Dream is GENIUS!
This band is my first big find while digging through the lineup. I'm really liking what I've heard so far. I can't wait to get the new album next week!
Bumping this thread, because I honestly can't stop listening to Teen Dream. I've heard their performance can be a bit lackluster, and I really hope that's not the case.

Lackluster's putting a big old positive spin on it.
They are absolutely stultifyingly dull live, and lead singer is pretty lame as far as stage banter goes too...
Hopefully Coachella schedules them at 11pm in the Gobi...as a chill out set for people who just want to lay down on the lawn and close their eyes, they can be appealing, as they do sound good live...but as stage spectacle, I seriously doubt there's a weaker act in the lineup...MGMT, Vampire Weekend included.

I think it's time to go on myspace and start sampling. Thanks for the suggestions.

Jamiroquai 2014 please.
All three of their albums are superb, and while ideally they'd play at night for some added ambience, I'm just glad they're on the bill.
i thought this was gonna be an open invitation to a beach house party or something...fuck...
i need to give them a few more listens, they seem to just be another version of a lot of whats going on right now.
but i really havent listened to them enough to fully say that. i think its all the hype ive heard from friends that made the initial listens seem a bit unoriginal to me.
Meow.Meow..Meow...
SENSING SOME DISAPPOINT FROM PEEPS IN THIS THREAD YEAH
What album did you listen to, Astrid? I think the production on Teen Dream is much more lush and inviting than the other 2 albums. It may be a matter of whether or not you fall in love with Victoria's vocals, like I did.
Sorry to everyone who is expecting something different, but seriously, it's in the Line-Up section and it's a confirmed artist on the poster. Not too hard to figure it out.

Teen Dream just got a 9.0 from P4K.
Expect a huge crowd.

Yeah, Devotion got a BNM in '08, too. I was wondering if that would have any actual bearing on the crowd at Coachella. Though, Blitzen Trapper got a BNM last year and their crowd seemed fairly large....

Yeah, Pitchfork usually gives their latest buzz bands a boost with a Coachella appearance. I'm pretty stoked for Girls though.

i started listening to this band about a month ago when i saw they posted a concert at local music venue. A few clips in and I bought the 2 albums they had available. I had never heard one word about them and fell in love for what the music said to my soul. So whoever wants to say people are just listening cause of the hype and "hipsters" like em you can close your ignorant mouths. Just got teen dream today as well. So far, another beautiful album. Don't know if I'll be at Coachella but I'll definitely be seeing this band this year.
They will be in Dallas on 4/21, justin, so you are in luck.
Also, I don't think anyone was ragging on hipsters, the p4k review/hype is a good thing in my opinion, if it introduces more people to the band.

Sunset outdoor stage before The XX would be nice.
Teen Dream has definitely been a part of the good start for music in 2010.
