    Default Les Claypool

Heck yes! Always a good show, and long overdue for a Coachella slot if you ask me.

Should be an interesting show, I'm not the hugest Primus fan but the thought of a Les show intrigues me.

it would be even better if Primus was performing but this is cool though. Les Claypool is an amazing performer.

usually he'll do a Primus song or two but it will sound nothing like the original

I'm wondering which band he'll be coming with

I've seen him solo several times, he'll allude to a Primus song, maybe play a snipbit here and there during the "extended jam" part of the set, but it's usually either not the whole song or a different version of the song.

Either way, I plan on being there unless he's conflicting with Devo or something.

When I saw Primus is 2006, for an encore they came out with one song. A 20 minute jam of American Life. I wasn't on any drugs, but I felt like my mind was being altered. I highly doubt Les Claypool solo could do anything like that to me.

With that being said, the man is incredible and I will, most likely, be at his set.

Does he still play with the Frog Brigade? That would be insanity...regardless, I will be there.

Too bad it's not Oysterhead. I've never heard his solo stuff, just Primus and Oysterhead, will plan to check him out barring conflicts.

He will usually just do solo and Frog Brigade material and maybe tease some Primus or play a full song, but I wouldn't hold my breath for anything great his last touring band was really underwhelming

No doubt about it. He's very, very talented. I too wish it were PRIMUS, but maybe this will be a pre-curser to have Primus perform at Coachella, sometime in the near future.

I've seen both Les Claypool and Primus live multiple times. You're very wrong, and quite frankly retarded.

This is just funny. Lilia and her brother were there... don't recall seeing you. Unless you were hiding with Mark in the bushes.

Jay Lane is leaving Furthur to play drums with Primus again so I wouldn't be surprised if he's at Coachella.
