Beastie Boys

Now I saw a ton of predictions for the beastie boys, but they're nowhere to be found on the lineup. Anyone have any official information on them? I've heard rumors that they haver decided yet, and other rumors that they announced they were playing coachella in an interview. Please give some good news, or bad (if it has to be true...) I'd love to see these guys at coachella.

Yeah Jay Z will be good, but the Beastie Boys would RAPE him. But does anybody have any info on an interview that they said they would be at coachella on? I keep on hearing this but can't find anything! And I don't remember where I saw this, but someone on the forums said that they are still deciding...

Do you really think they wouldn't headline? They are bigger than most people think, and they would throw down a way better show than Jay Z ever could. Especially if they played like they did back in 1999.

Jigga would kill Beastie Boys, but seeing them lead in to Jigga would be fucking awesome. I saw them at Bonnaroo and they killed it. Hopefully they will be a late add. Maybe the invite is out, they are just waiting on the final word. Coach has the tendency to add some big names last minute.

I saw the Beastie Boys play the Kroq Weenie Roast in 2004. I found them boring. I watched them only because the Strokes were playing after them and I was in the front row in the pit. I skipped them at Coachella 2003.

Why do you guys like the Beasties so much? They have some classic albums and seem fun. But I have just as much of an urge to see them as I do to see Run DMC. It's good for nostalgia but overall very average.

Thanks, I have way more stories where that came from, everything from Jackie Mason giving the finger to Ed Sullivan in 1964 to a homeless man taking out his glass eye and showing it to me on State Street in Santa Barbara in 1991 because I did not have any spare change for him.

beastie boys would be awesome if they played before jay z that be epic i expected them to be on the line up i was really disappointed when i saw they werent but overall i think the line up is good
