Technically, Pavement and Soundgarden are already reunited. I assume "reunion prediction" to mean some sort of surprise reunion.

Definitely feelin' your Sahara predictions. Especially The Twelves - I'd be so stoked if they play this year.

"Cypress Hill's eighth studio album, Rise Up, will feature contributions from Slash, Tom Morello and Mike Shinoda. The album will be released on Priority Records/EMI Entertainment, as the group was signed to the label by new Creative Chairman Snoop Dogg on January 15, 2010. The album is now set for release on April 6, 2010"

I would be pretty happy if Cypress Hill played.
    G-funk acquired, thank you Coachella

    Main Stage:
LCD Soundsystem > Beastie Boys > Muse
Sade > Pavement > David Bowie
My Morning Jacket > Thom Yorke > Gorillaz

    Sahara Closers:
    Friday: Basement Jaxx

    Sunday: Orbital

I think LCD will be moved to the main stage, a la Kraftwerk in 2008.

The only surprising part about Portishead was their headlining status. They were the first "confirmed" act of 2008 (see the MBV reunion article).

I agree with your initial point that it is hard to believe that we would know the headliners weeks before the lineup is out.

Crombrenner, while I appreciate the effort and like these 'create a lineup' things as much as the next guy, I'm deeply troubled by your placing Thom Yorke to close, never mind be in the Sahara. Assuming he's playing with a full band and not DJing, or even if he was DJing for that matter. Please revise. Cheers.
