That link is annoying. I clicked on a few genres, and it doesn't give out band names so much as producers. Can anyone give out a few bands that belong to a particular genre?

That's how most electronic music is made, by producers. A lot of those subgenres don't have any "bands" associated with them. You could probably list DJs that specialize in particular styles. Check out your local underground party or club flyers for more info on that sorta thing.

Having a group on stage making the music doesn't really make it any better... it's often worse. Attempting to recreate good-sounding electronic music with any sort of live instrumentation is often impossible.

I would pay the $800-$900 ticket prices on ebay if Daft Punk were there this year.

Discovery is very awesome.. I do think that the Interstella songs do get old though.. Alive 97 is fucking wicked sweet.. I was hoping their Coachella was going to be like that, but was even MORE impressed.

i can see why some people wouldnt like daft punk and/or other types of electronic music. and have you ever noticed how music you dont like all sounds the same? like im sure if you dont like electronic music it's hard to hear the difference between trance, psytrance, house, trip hop, breaks, etc. but if you do love that music it all sounds completely different.

Daft Punk is absolutly amazing they can really hold an audience. You dont even have to be on anydrugs to fully enjoy there shows. They are able to give just the right amount if not more. Going to see them In Berkeley in June again ....I love them
