So this is kind of what Radiohead probably wanted The King of Limbs to sound like, right?

I hadn't thought of it that way, but I wouldn't disagree with this. I, however, find it much more comparable to Kid A. In fact, "His and Mine Senses" sounds like a straight up Kid A b-side or something.

This new one didn't do much for me at all. And I dont really hear the Radiohead-ness that many of you pointed out and even recommended it for. His and Mine Senses is the only song I really enjoyed. I'll have to revisit it in a couple days.

Yeah, it seems really odd that nothing really explicitly negative is said but still not BNM. Oh well, fuck em, just sucks for the band to not have that exposure on such a great album.

Yeah, I got my shipping notice today. Doubt I get a wax dipped one, but I'd enjoy it, if I do.

I got a wax dipped LP on Saturday. Sandbag was nice enough to send me sealed LP and wax dipped cover in a plastic sleeve since the paint was still little wet

and for those that ordered single 12", you should have received an email saying it's being delayed since the members didn't have the chance to sign it yet!

ps This new album rules. I'm glad Liars keep pushing envelopes with every album...

Well, one of those setlists is from a festival. I'd expect a fuller set at a headlining show (although I don't know what to make of the second one.)

Make of it that lots of Setlist.fm entries are incomplete. They did like 15 at the El Rey last time around and I doubt it will go down.

I could see the number of songs going down due to new instruments being used and them not wanting to lug around guitars and other stuff if they are focusing on electronic instruments now, but I might not know what I'm talking about.
