exactly. and I'M supposed to be the fuckin idiot..
Lol, nbvcide's avatar.
i wish prodigy could co-headline - its like they go out of their way to be booked so they dont have to play coachella
The Prodigy could not headline the main, obviously, but I'm not so sure I disagree with the premise of them subbing. I don't think it would work on the main regardless, but there's entirely a possibility that on a given day they could be on the second line of their day on the poster and be headlining the Sahara. I mean, c'mon--they're bigger than Thievery Corp even after all this time.
And frankly, their show last year was fucking fantastic. As much fun as almost any EDM show I've ever been to.
god i hate prodigy...only thing worse is the crystal method as subheadliner..
This thread has really gotten off-topic, we are supposed to be relentlessly telling quicksand what a dumbshit he is. Remember?
And I wasn't saying they couldn't play the main (although I don't think it would happen anymore), just that they wouldn't headline it, which they didn't.
now ..i think mainstage would be a mistake..weve come to far!
Frankly it doesn't seem like putting EDM on the main is ever a good idea, really. I fucking hate Tiesto so it made me really happy to see what a tiny crowd he had in 07, but when I walked down there to get a better look it was just fucking weird. Most of the crowd didn't seem to be remotely into it, they were just drugged out mainstreamers who didn't seem to know what the fuck to do but stand around on ecstasy.
Prodigy headlined Saturday when they played the main stage in 2003 then headlined in the Sahara in 2005
it was 2002 my bad
A friend of mine saw the Prodigy last year at Ultra and said they were fucking awful. He said people were leaving their set midway through it was so bad.
If we're lucky something will happen. Some adversity will happen and something unexpected will happen and you'll get tired and you'll get hungry, you'll have trouble going to the bathroom, and you'll lose your car keys, and all these wonderful things will add up to some powerful experience that 10 years from now we'll say "We lived, we lived." - Wayne Coyne on Coachella
I was at Ultra. They started really slow but they got progessivley better and better during their set. Unfortunately I was dying from a meth bomb so I was one of the people that left during their set. Ultra was kind of a joke though, very poorly organized and the crowd just blew. Honestly they werent into any of the acts.
But they killed it at The Palladium. Such a fucking bomb show.
Everyone who saw the ultra performance seemed to have hated it. (Liam actually said an in interview that he hates the festival because of the crowd it brings)
Everyone who saw them at a club gig seemed to have loved it.
