I cut that a little short when I said, "...first show in the states,..." To be accurate: Leftfield will never play a hard event ever, ever.

and HARD NYE was barely 2/3rds full..



also, everyone's fav bitching go-to, HARD Summer, was NOT oversold... it wasn't shut down because it was too crowded.. there were 2600 empty seats next to me..
people not wanting to sit in seats and jumping to the floor and having so little hired crowd control that it got shut down, has nothing to do with how many tickets were sold..

I'm going to just keep saying it.... the fire marshal was under the impression Hard Summer @ the Forum was going to be a seated concert.

maybe HARD will scoop coachella and have the first US Leftfield reunion gig @ Hard Summer..

Why would Daft Punk play a HARD event when they can sell out the LA Sports Arena by themselves?

if daft can sell out the sports arena, then why not play a 25,000 capacity venue?

and daft selling out three nights, makes me think Hard is even more likely, no matter how dumb it sounds.. surely EDC could get them, and they'd probably book their own gig sometime during their tour..

jesus, Daft Punk main stage at EDC, 100,000+ and thousands wouldn't even be able to get inside the coliseum to see it..

I like Dr Lufs-al-ot's logic, hahah. If Daft Punk are to play a show it'd have to becentered around them, like last time in LA at the convention center. As to who gets dibs on the DP night, AEG/Goldenvoice seems like the dominant hand in that relationship as they did it last time *COUGH* (biggest events promotion company in the world) AHHH SUPER CORPORATION!

IF anything I'd like to see our local up and coming, HARD, get Daft Punk that would be way tighter, Justice before Daft Punk and maybe a HARD Fav like Crookers or something... It could be like the HARD MIA show or something...
However back to the main point, it's unlikely DP will show up as a surprise guest, are you kidding? I hear they hate DJing.

Every HARD event is pretty much the same, so no difference in reading a 2 year old thread compared to one started 3 months ago where people speculate the greatest show ever, only to get Justice/Busy P and some dubstep act when the lineup is released.

Perhaps it will be DATSIK this year since Skrillex is too cool now

first phase of the lineup is out. I dunno I really don't think it's that great. I got over Bloc Party when I was a sophomore in highschool, everyone hates skrillex, beetroots are pretty cool just kinda too bad it's adj set, and I wonder what a James Murphy set would be like. What do you guys think?
