It was fun. No caroling, but lots of good food, and drinks...and children. The girls are doing well and had a great time. We kinda had too much food at the first stop, so by the time we got to the other two houses, nobody could eat anything else, including what looked like the best Red Velvet cake ever.

Oh, Friday night was my bosses 9th annual margarita party. This year he and his wife hired a stripping Santa and stripping Ms. Claus who did a short performance and then 'worked' the party the rest of the evening.

A stripping Santa and Mrs. Claus? Am I the only one having a visual of two roly-poly people dancing around with their 8 rosy-red cheeks exposed, singing, "He knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sakes?"

is he healthy enough to perform? i thought i heard they cancelled a show here recently due to illness.

i mainly cleaned this weekend and wasn't feeling very festive since i had a lot to do. my girlfriends and i were supposed to build a gingerbread house, but only one of them ended up coming over and we never really got into it. my dad & i went and ordered stuffed cornish hens from ajs; some with stuffing, some with wild rice. my coachella secret santa gift arrived on friday which was awesome, thank you tommy!!!!

i pick up randy though this evening so i will have tons of holiday spirit tonight. after today, i don't have to work again until the 4th and i am ELATED about that

My kids and I made gingerbread houses last year, and it was really a lot of fun -- loved using all those different-colored candy bits as edging for the windows or shingles on the roof.

We cleaned house yesterday, played Christmas CD's, and I made cookies. Also, I made a mad dash to Target this morning and dumped a ton of money into more Christmas presents/stocking stuffers for my kids.

Gingerbread houses can be quite messy. Those little 'different-colored candy bits' keep showing up EVERYWHERE.

Yeah, the icing/glue didn't always keep the candy bits on the house.

One year for our company holiday party we had a ginger bread building contest. We bought the kits and then a bunch of different decorating items and set up teams. Some guys even built a crane out of pretzels in order to lift their roof. It was a lot of fun but such a mess to clean up after.

SAN JUAN, Texas -- A south Texas couple put an aborted 7-month-old fetus in a gift box under a Christmas tree after they were unable to flush the remains down a toilet, authorities alleged Monday.

Ruby Lee Medina, 31, and Javier Gonzalez, 37, of Mission, have been charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.

Bond was set Monday at $20,000 each.

San Juan Police Chief Juan Gonzalez said police found the fetus inside the woman's trailer home Thursday after getting an anonymous tip.

Autopsy results are pending, but Gonzalez said police believe the woman used pills to induce an abortion Thursday, then called an ambulance after she began bleeding and told doctors she didn't know where the fetus was.

The abortion drug, mifepristone, was made to be used at approximately seven weeks into pregnancy to kill an unborn child, but the second part of the two-drug process, misoprostol, can be used to cause contractions.

It is an anti-ulcer drug that is not meant for pregnancy or abortion purposes.

Gonzalez said Medina called for an ambulance after she began bleeding and told paramedics she did not know the location of the unborn child.

He indicated the couple attempted to flush the body of the baby down the toilet but were unable to do so.

The couple said they eventually had planned to bury the baby's body in their backyard but police found them out first.

    They voluntarily surrendered to officials.

"Apparently they cleaned up the fetus and they placed it inside a gift box under the Christmas tree," the police chief said.
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.

Ha....I just ordered a ready-made 6-8 person holiday meal at a grocery store in Sedona (where I'll be spending Xmas weekend), called my mom to see if she'll be at home in Sedona that weekend, and she's apparently coming to Phoenix, so I guess my family of 4 will have some leftovers. We're trying to get away from everyone anyway, so that can be considered a good thing.

If anyone else happens to be near Sedona Thursday, come join us for store-bought turkey.

What are your top holiday movies?

I've never really got into the classics, so my personal fav is "Love Actually".

Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends...
I really need to fit this in sometime this week.

My top holiday movies are Faces of Death and The Exorcist. The Hangover is my new one.

I don't know about any movies during the holidays, but I'm pretty certain a hangover is in order.

That's what I've heard about that movie. I still want to see Pineapple Express too. (Pretty sure that can be rented by now, huh?)

I admit I'm going to be evil and see a movie with the family Christmas morning. I used to hate having to working Christmas when I worked at a movie theatre, but damn, there's nothing else open.
