oh ye of presumably little festival experience (coachella barely counts in this regard). it's called 2 if not 3 battery operated fans. this will allow you to sleep until 2pm if you want to. and yeah naps. naps are wonderful.

I don't go to Coachella to take naps. There's good music at all times of day. If I'm driving up to SF Sunday night, as I always have, I might get a little accidental nap in during Roger Waters.

with ins & outs and all night dome, i'm doing my coachella sleeping from 6am-noon in the comfort of automobile air conditioning.. but that's thur & sun nights.. fri & sat i probably won't sleep

Roo does it right. Coachella could do it right if they didn't kick everyone out before opening the dome. Last year at Roo I thought i was ending my night with Pretty Lights around 3ish when i saw Oakenfold was still throwing down on my way back to camp. I decided to hang out for a bit and before I knew it it was about 6:30 in the morning... he just.did.not.quit.

The in + out privileges make no real difference to me as I'll be staying in a hotel. I suppose I can take some merch back to the car rather than carry it around, but that's about it.

Well you can totally eat at In n Out instead of paying 3 times as much for a burger at a vendor. But that would have to be during a lull when you didn't want to see anyone, which doesn't happen much for me.

Dani mentioned a shuttle though. This is a bit coy, but at Wakarusa, the shuttle was called The No Waka Waka. At the roo you couldn't leave once in on the first day (Thursday) but after that you could leave and come back. I never really had a reason because I had everything I needed. cr****

Used to do In 'n Out all the time late at night and early in the morning during those weekends. The idea now is to try to fit as much in multiple ice-chests as possible. The following year, I'll bet many will convert to car camping. It's more than a tent now, it's a home.
