I'm there! Oak Canyon Ranch was a great venue when i went there for Jujubeats, and if this is a Sybiosis type event there probably is no better venue for it than oak canyon ranch. I take it you can camp at this event correct?

And at Jujubeats one of the bridges going over the lake fell into the water because it couldn't handle the dance party happening on it.

Yea JuJu was suuuuper proper, B3 did a great job. The spot is really chill, not as lush as some places more north, but I'm just glad its back. I think they are trying to throw Narnia Fest there too in July.

There are some better places north, but i like the choice of venue because it's like 10 minutes from my house. I would say it's the best place in orange county for partys, i just hope the will call isn't set up like jujubeats was.

It has a good amount of trees, not like a shit ton or anything, but i think the venue has a lot of potential to be amazing.

is it right on the lake? As in can you swim and listen to dubstep at the same time?

The lake in the middle of where they will have the music you weren't allowed to be in at jujubeats, but i couldn't say about the camping area or anything being as i didn't camp at juju.

i guess santa barbara is also kinda like the oc, but at least it's a couple hours away from the city, so it feels like you're getting away for the weekend.

just to give some insight about the venue:

I have only been there once, for jujubeats this past year. its right near lake irvine off of sand canyon about ten minutes from the toll road. they had will call set up so that you had to park your car, walk up this hill, get your tickets and then drive to another line where you waited to drive five minutes more to another parking lot. that is where you actually parked ($20) and then walked to the venue. It is very spacious and open and I actually enjoyed it a lot. the only thing that sucked was the parking fee and the fact that you could not make a single phone call. the service is horrible there and we could not even get a board meetup due to the lack of service
