The Ninth Annual SF Sketchfest: The San Francisco Comedy Festival will be held January 14-February 2, 2010. SF Sketchfest features sketch, improvisational and stand-up comedy plus tributes, panels, movies and more. The festival will be held over 20 nights at multiple venues throughout the Bay Area. “We are thrilled to announce an exciting and diverse line-up of some of our favorite comedy stars as well as present the best up-and-coming talent from around the world,” said SF Sketchfest co-creators David Owen, Cole Stratton and Janet Varney in a joint statement.

Big-name highlights of the lineup include Conan O'Brien, who will be presented with a Tribute Award, Monty Python's Terry Jones, "Weird Al" Yankovic, John Hodgman (PC from the Mac commercials), Cinematic Titanic featuring the cast of MST3K, the cast of Reno 911! and Michael Cera. AST favorites representing this year include Paul F. Tompkins (who brings his eponymous Largo show to the Eureka), Greg Behrendt (Bring the Rock), Comedy Death-Ray with Michael Cera & Clark Duke, Michael Ian Black, Doug Benson, Dana Gould, Natasha Leggero and more, Game Show Explosion hosted by Jimmy Pardo and featuring Dave Foley, Andy Richter, Tompkins, Benson, Aukerman and more and Pardo's Never Not Funny Live with Matt Belknap and Pat Francis. That sentence was getting too long, so here's another one, full of names (names of people who will be there): Fred Willard, Carol Kane, Rachel Dratch, Matt Walsh, Ian Roberts, Tim Meadows, Eugene Mirman, Bobby Tisdale, Kumail Nanjiani, Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer, Kasper Hauser, Brent Weinbach, Moshe Kasher, Reggie Watts, Matt Braunger and Kyle Kinane. If you like comedy and don't like the sound of this, you are, quite frankly, an asshole.
