new to chella camping

Hii. This will be my first year camping coachella(I hear its the only way to do it) and I had a couple questions for the vets..
4/20 friendly?
how strict is security with drinking?
how cold does it get at night?
what should I bring?
and any other advice altogether would be nice!

it gets cold enough where I fall asleep at 6 am with pants and a sweatshirt on. and wake up at 8 am to strip naked from the heat

bring flashlight/tent/sleepingbag/drugs

getting booze in is the battle not drinking it while your in there

4/20 friendly? By 4/20 you should be back home and exhausted from all the dancing, walking around,meeting people, and of course, partying!!!
security with drinking? Well, I know I always feel more secure after I've been drinking...
how cold does it get at night? Depends if you're camping alone , or with someone, I guess...
what should I bring? A smile, your tent, and some big girl panties.
any other advice Of course! Be prepared to have a whole bunch more of these smartassed answers?

P.S. It may not be the only way to go to Coachella, but it is most definitely the funnest!

Yep! It worked for me going in the campgrounds and the festival entry gates. I also had a light sweater that fit in my backpack, but I instead carries it in with one of the sleeves knotted. Why? Because I didn't want my flask of tequila to drop out. Once inside, I merely put the flask in my pocket and the sweater in my pack. Done deal for the day!
