I was, but I only know of the Mexico and 2 Cali shows so far (in addition to the Europe shows, but no 1 curr about Europe because we don't live there).

    Unless you know moar??

But what I do know iiis:

Martina, Horace, and Deborah are once again the touring vocalists.
Martina is singing Paradise Circus (should have been Deborah...).
They are closing the shows out so far with SPLITTING THE ATOM (weird).

Setlist from first show of this tour earlier this month:

Just noticed they are also doing Treasure Island Fest. THREE california shows+mexico. I bet this is going to be a west coast only segment of the tour.

the two new songs appear to be from a side-project called Battle Box, and are both officially released already. no new Massive Attack material yet. I was expecting this to be a warm up to a new album.

Not down on them, but just confused. Surely they're close to revealing some new music. I'll happily see them anytime to hear the old stuff. But wtf?

So can anyone think of some rare track or collaborations to share preferbly something that I might not know of ?

I'm EXTREMELY excited to see Massive attack again after listening to the Collected album.

I should have thrown in the two Battle Box songs too. they are not technically Massive Attack pieces but it's given that they are playing them on this tour they are relevant enough.

despite the lack of new material this year's tour sounds completely fresh. they've reinterpreted teardrop and angel to the point that they sound like new songs. some other songs have more minor variations, such as a new, extended jam at the end of safe from harm (which is KILLER). my expectations going in to see them this weekend was just getting more of the same, but between the new interpretations, the Battlebox songs, appearance of Pray for Rain this weekend, and me finally getting to see them do Pradise Circus, I walked away thoroughly satisfied.

    now, new album please.

for sure. Angel last night was magical. Their show had a lot more production behind it than I was expecting

What is the "DJ version" of angel, like? Since Horace wasn't there, was it just the music they were playing?

from what i remember it really just was the music being played, and i think the vocals were mixed a bit if anything. even without the vocals it was the highlight of the set for me.

Like someone playing the acapella of his vocal?

3D seemed to be triggering samples of his vocals at key moments. I thought it was a pretty fantastic rendition, actually.

Ha, I thought it was the most uninteresting part of the set. Everyone except 3d was just standing around! Good rendition of a great song sure... But it was very boring for the show as a whole.

hm. each his own, I guess. part of appeal for me was just that it was new and unexpected.

also the 'love you love you love you' lead on was extended to twice the number of measures, and the overdriven guitar was way more pronounced
