And yes, March 1st is technically out of the graphic's date range, but it's still part of Noise Pop according to APE.

so expensive...
Yeah, but it's rare when I find the Noise Pop badge to be worth it, but there will be one or two amazing lineups that you'll want to see for $12-25.
And Magnetic Fields is surprisingly expensive, too, on its own, but they're one of the few overlapping bands that my girlfriend and I are actually passionate about, so when they come to town, we have to see them.

i was referring to magnetic fields on it's own as expensive. i'm excited to see the rest of the shows. i'm sure i'll catch one of the cafe du nord gigs.
most of the shows are so cheap. one year I considered buying a badge until I realized the same amount of money could get me two tickets to a show every night. and a ticket gives you garunteed entry, vs a pass which will only get you in if there is still room.
Yup, I was denied entry to a show when I had a badge a couple years ago. Haven't bought one since.

always look forward to Noise Pop. it was what first introduced me to some of the city's venues when I moved here.
lineup is out on December 9th.

Pavement first show? maybe?
Doubt it, but wouldn't surprise me at all.

excited to see the lineup.
fuck. this NEVER falls on spring break for me![]()
My stance is "doubt it will occur".
If it does happen, my lack of surprise will be backed up by Malkmus' solo performance last year where he played a lot of Pavement songs and Noise Pop/Another Planet's longstanding relationship with Malkmus, as well as Spiral Stairs.

I bet we will get some announcement on Sunday night during Live 105's "Soundcheck" radio show. The past couple of years the guys that run Noise Pop have been guests on the show just before they make the announcement on their website.
Lineup is coming out tomorrow. They've did a good job of keeping things unannounced:
Feb 24:
Rogue Wave @ Bottom of the Hill
Feb 27:
The Magnetic Fields @ Herbst Theatre
The Soundtrack of Our Lives, Nico Vega @ Independent
Feb 28:
Evan Dando @ Cafe Du Nord (just assuming that this is Noise Pop)
Mar 1:
The Magnetic Fields @ Fox Theater (Oakland)

I hope Atlas Sound is at a good venue. I'd enjoy another Bottom of the Hill show.
